ClipStock has amassed the one of the largest privately-owned video libraries in the world, holding proprietary rights to over one million unique and sequenced assets offered ONLY through ClipStock. Unlike other video and music libraries, ClipStock actually owns each piece of media available through the platform, making us singularly unique within the industry.  ClipStock currently offers access to approximately 700,000 of these assets through the website.  The ClipStock team is adding new content every month.  ClipStock anticipates offering complete access to all of its 1,000,000+ clips, music and graphics by the end of 2023.

We’re in the business, so we understand the need for fresh, new content. We will be adding new clips every week. We are currently adding as many as 30,000+ new clips every month.

Yes, members can start creating with ClipStock immediately. Upon joining, members will have access to our entire library of 6K, 4K, and HD Footage, Graphics and Animations.

Everything you download is yours forever. All clips found on our site are exclusively on ClipStock and can be used Royalty-free. This license is available in perpetuity, even if you cancel. Therefore, any clips downloaded with an active membership, including a free-trial, are yours to keep and use forever, and there are no limitations on how long any works published may remain in circulation.

While we always appreciate our users letting others know about our content, it is not a requirement that you credit ClipStock when using our footage.

Our primary goal at ClipStock is to provide all of the necessary content our members need to increase the production value of their creative video work.  As a member of ClipStock, users are encouraged to request desirable and specific footage not currently found on our site by visiting our request a clip page.  While we cannot guarantee every request, your input will influence the procurement and/or production of additional video clips. Once we secure the content requested, we will notify you immediately.

Royalty-free is a type of license that allows unlimited use of content in media projects, and without having to pay each time that clip appears in a project. This means that there are no fees applicable to the recurring usage of a singular or group of clips, graphics, or media procured through valid means on the ClipStock site, and that all ClipStock content can be leveraged as a media asset without additional payment, in perpetuity.  All of ClipStock’s content is royalty-free!

All of the content on ClipStock is 100% Royalty-Free and designed to be used for both personal and commercial purposes. It is intentionally designed to integrate into your own creative work. There are no production budget restrictions for any ClipStock member. Our license allows for worldwide distribution through all media formats, including online and broadcast. This license is available in perpetuity, even if you cancel. Therefore, any clips downloaded with an active membership, including a free-trial, are yours to keep and use forever, and there are no limitations on how long any works published may remain in circulation.

You cannot sell, license, or redistribute any ClipStock file, nor can anyone repurpose those files for any existing or proprietary stock library.  You cannot trademark or brand any ClipStock files, such as utilizing a file for a logo, as it would impede other members from fair and equal usage.  We also discourage “stockpiling” content without the intention to use, as ClipStock is designed to meet artists’ needs on a per-clip basis.  All ClipStock content is designed with the intention of “proper use” statutes.

Proper use means that we do not allow our Clips to appear in projects that advocate violence or incitement, pornography, obscenity, racism, or hatred towards any group.  We do not license Clips for use in projects that encourage discrimination against one person, or a group of people based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin. Nor do we consent to the use of material in any way that constitutes a threat, harm, invasion of privacy, defamation, or any other negative and offensive content.  Additionally, you cannot use ClipStock files to harm minors, encourage violence, or to defame or defraud any individual or group, or for any other unlawful purposes.

“Commercial use” refers to the utilization of our content to promote/sell a product, company or service. If you are going to use our content to make money, then you are most likely using it commercially.  We both allow and expect all ClipStock members to utilize the media resources available for commercial purposes and to supplement or replace alternative creative material with ClipStock content.

Yes. All video clips on ClipStock that clearly display a person’s face have model releases provided by our creative contributors.  These releases are kept on file and available on request.

If a clip features a company, brand, likeness, or trademark, you may conduct your own research to determine if use of the image will violate any rights of the third party in question. If so, we advise you to obtain releases from the third party. The only releases we provide are talent releases on clips that feature models. No other releases are provided.  Additionally, we do not condone the use of negative “expose” stories that are intended to present any brand in a negative manner.

Our “Membership Price-Lock” is our commitment to early and avid ClipStock users. The annual price of a ClipStock membership will not increase for any sustaining member. This means, if you pay a special introductory price for your initial yearly commitment, you will be eligible for the current annual membership price at the time of your initial sign up and ClipStock will protect your renewal rate against any future price increases for as long as your account remains active.

Yes, our Membership Price-Lock includes our special student pricing even after graduation. As long as your membership remains active and is not cancelled, you will be eligible for the renewal at the current annual membership price at the time of your initial sign up. And ClipStock will protect your renewal rate against any future price increases for as long as your account remains active.

“Reasonable use” is a set of guidelines we use to help prevent the abuse of our site’s resources and to ensure that the content is available to all of our subscribers when they want it. These guidelines also help to prevent the theft and/or unlicensed use of our content.  Please see our Terms of Use agreement for more details.  

Each ClipStock member is granted unlimited access to our entire library of royalty-free stock video, graphics, templates and sequences found only on ClipStock.
However, in order to continue to offer an all inclusive membership at an industry disrupting cost, we simply ask that after downloading 100 Clips you come back the next calendar day to download additional clips. If you have a project requiring more downloads, please contact our team to discuss additional membership options for large scale projects . This requirement also helps us determine that you are human and not a robot scraping content from the site. As you know, we’d rather provide video clips for humans versus robots.
 
Our Corporate and Agency plans have fewer restrictions and may be more suitable project needs requiring extremely large quantities of content. Please feel free to contact us to discuss these options. ClipStock Memberships will be given the option to cancel before their membership renews. We automatically renew memberships to ensure that you always have access to the stock content you need at your current price, which allows you to keep your current price point no matter how much prices increase in the future.

You can cancel your account, if necessary, on the billing portion of your account page.  All cancellations are final and any subsequent renewal would not have access to the Membership Price-Lock.  Alternately, you can cancel membership by contacting us at [email protected]

Free-Trials may be cancelled anytime during the final week of the Free-Trial Period.

Membership Fee Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable. As such, there are no refunds and/or credits for partially used periods. Following cancellation, however, you will continue to have access to the service to the end of your current billing period. ClipStock may, at our discretion, provide a partial refund or discount on a case by case basis to its members.

Annual plans offer a discounted monthly price for content as a “thank you” for making a year-long commitment. ClipStock requires a one-year commitment for Memberships billed annually. You can opt-out of Monthly subscription at any time. Do keep in mind that your account will automatically renew if it is not canceled. But, we will notify you before your current membership expires.

Our accepted method of payment is credit or debit card, as well as PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX. We cannot accept gift or prepaid cards from these providers - an active line of credit or checking account must be associated with the card.

We also accept purchase orders from businesses, ad agencies, government agencies, and educational institutions. Sequencing is particular group of clips that are associated to one another and can be used to create a stronger storyline and scene. These clips include different angles, different focal lengths (wide, medium, tight), and cut-aways. Sequenced clips will give your story a high end agency look and feel. Most importantly, sequences allow users to have the creative freedom to build a scene how they want to, sparking creativity and providing more editing flexibility than ever before.

In order to reduce the number of visually similar clips while browsing or viewing search results, we have also sequenced clips of simple feature differences, for example facial expressions, together as a sequence.

There are a few ways of searching and identifying sequenced clips. When searching for clips, a “sequence” symbol will be on the top right corner of all clips belonging to a sequence. Also, any search can be filtered to show “Only Clips Belonging to a Sequence”. After selecting a clip with the denoted Sequence symbol, the other associated clips will appear under the initial clip in the “Other Clips from This Sequence” section.

An Epic Edit is an example of what can be created with footage found exclusively on ClipStock. When looking through a large library with various footage, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Our vision with these edits is to provide editors with a final product to help spark new, creative ideas.
